Sad Day,
I am shocked and saddened today. I recently found out that a member of my site has been taking my videos and reposting them to YouTube, where they have been being accessed for free. This is not just wrong, this is illegal!
There is a reason my site has a "Member's Only" area that you must pay to access. The work I do making the videos, putting them on the site, maintaining the site, getting traffic to the site, answering emails, etc, is exactly that; work. It is how I make my living. It is how I support myself as a disabled individual. I do not receive disability, or any kind of government assistance. What I make from my website is what I live on. It's how I feed myself, put a roof over my head, clothes on my back, and keep myself warm in the winter time. Not to mention that on occasion, some of the videos I make are actually dangerous for me.
By purchasing a membership to this site, you purchase the privilige of viewing the work I have created for you. I own these works, you do not. My work is for your personal use, and not to be reused or reposted anywhere. When you go see a movie in the theatre, you don't own that movie just because you paid to see it. Just in case there is any confusion, please READ THE TERMS before subscribing to my site.
The very thought that someone could violate me and my well-being like this is disgusting to me. I would NEVER do this to another human being, especially not one in my fragile condition, who is just trying to make her way in this world the best way she knows how.
I do not steal from any of you. Joining my site is voluntary. I do not spam anyone or try to trick anyone with false charges or identity theft. I am a straight up and honest person who offers a service that must be paid for to help me not only with my day to day life, but with the costs of running the site, and those costs are a lot more than you can imagine.
When you steal from me in this way, you are taking food from my mouth. You are showing me that the work I do, and the hours I spend making my site fun and exciting for people, means nothing more to you than a way to take my hard work and abuse it.
Due to this new development, I have been forced to raise my membership fees. Also, please read the legal terms before joining if there is any confusion about the proper use of my site and it's contents. I regret doing this, as many of my honest and loyal members do NOT deserve this, but in light of what has happened, and that 15 of my videos were stolen and reposted for free, this is what I have to do.
I apologize to those of you who did NOT steal from me, and who have been loyal and trusted fans of mine for many, many years. I hope that in the future the people who feel they need to steal will learn their lesson and not violate others as they have violated me.
